Yacht Rock Revue Bio
Formed in Atlanta in 2007, Yacht Rock Revue began as an ironic cover performance that developed into a weekly residency and, eventually, a full-time touring act. The band specializes in yacht rock: the polished, melodic soft rock associated with the 1970s and 1980s. Its live arrangements pay tribute to artists including Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan, and Toto.
The group tours nationally and performs more than 100 shows a year, with a stage style that pairs faithful renditions with comedic flair and period-inspired outfits. Typical setlists may include “What a Fool Believes,” “Sailing,” “Ride Like the Wind,” “Africa,” and “Footloose,” though songs can vary from night to night. The band released its first album of original material, Hot Dads in Tight Jeans, in 2020; its concerts primarily focus on covers.
The supplied event information identifies this date as part of the Yacht Rock Revue – National Headlining Tour.
